What Happened At The Dance.

Q - Dear Annabelle,
Well, I emailed you earlier this week, and told you my love probs. I liked this girl, and the dance was tonight. I didnāt really know her well as I told you before. Sheās in 7th grade, Iām in 8th grade. At the dance, I danced with her twice and we danced close and stuff. Closer than more than half of the couples actually. Then I talked to her a little bit, but not much. My friend asked her out for me and her response was "I don't even know him". Now What should I do? What are some opportunities to get to talk 2 her? Please, I'm in very desperate need of help, so please help me! Thanks

A - Dear Brendan,

In life, when you want to get to know someone a little better, you simply prepare Ībaitā. Now, for girls, Ībaitā may, or may not, come in the form of flowers or chocolate. If you can arrange to take flowers to her house, even ones youāve picked yourself and arranged nicely in some small vase from the dime store, (are their still Īdime stores?), is a good idea. Or, whatever candy us currently popular, mailed to her house with a short funny note may help your cause a bit. Remember, all of the next 10 (!) years are for Īpracticeā in getting to know girls and for getting to know YOU, so donāt take things too seriously. Remember to have a sense of humor about all of this...sometimes thatās the only thing that will get you through it! - Annabelle
