He had been okay during lunch that day but, in the last class of the day, he was acting Īfunnyā and broke up with me after school, he said something about college and not wanting to be in a serious relationship. He said he'd still go to the Valentines dance with me, then told me that he heard i had another date and that he had asked someone else, heās totally confusing me. He kissed me the day before he broke up with me and we were pretty close when he did and now we barely talk. what should i do? A - Dear Red, Well, if he had a date with you for the Valentineās dance and then asked someone else, Iād say heās a cad. Donāt let it get you down, (ha). Look, at 16, the difference between you and a senior is pretty big..thatās just the way it is. I know youād love to be at the dance and have a lovely evening. If I could smite him from here Iād give him a big noxious zit on his nose on the night of the dance....one that glowed, (is that good enough?) Anyway, whether he is/was telling the truth or not isnāt relevant. Itās over and, at this age it hurts...and it happens. What YOU need to do is have a good cry, (if thatās appropriate), and go get yourself some chocolate...AND a good friend to go to the dance with and to have a wonderful time. Wait, no, thatās a bad plan. Well, find friends to do something with on the might of the dance and have a grand time doing something else.
