Q - Dear Annabelle,
I am 19 years old and I am disabled. I want to start dating, and meeting people, but I
don't know what to do. I am in college. I don't go anywhere on weekends, just stay home. What should I do to meet new people and find dates?
A - Dear Orlando,
The first thing you might want to consider is that you need to got OUT of the place where you spend your time, out into the world where people ARE. Now, there are many organization is your state that would have the information that you request, you doctor can certainly suggest a few. One of the very best ways for anyone to meet people this year will be at political gatherings. If you can work for a political party you will find yourself awash in various personalities and youâre bound to find someone with whom you can, at least, be friends. You donât say what your âdisabilityâ is, however there are no shortage of people who would find a delightfully clever and adventurous young male to be a wonderful friend....and perhaps more. Stephen Hawking was out one evening and didnât appear to be at all lonely and I seriously doubt that your challenge is as profound as his. Much good luck to you!
- Annabelle
