Q - Dear Annabelle,
I was wondering if sex hurts. I've done a lot, but never sex. So, could you please e-mail me?
A - Dear Autumn,
Does sex Îhurtâ? Well, letâs take a look at the information surrounding your question. Youâre 15........and youâve Îdone a lot but never sexâ. Iâm going to assume you mean sexual intercourse. (All forms of erotic pleasure come under the umbrella of Îsexâ.........regardless of whomever else youâve heard trying to define this term.
So, youâve never had sexual intercourse? At 15? Autumn, letâs put this in a slightly different context. (No, this is not a lecture, I just want you to think.) Sex, with the Îrightâ person, (as in with the person you are married to), is absolutely the most amazing, sharing and caring experience in the entire world..........fantastic sex must be THE reward for being human.
Now, just as gold and diamonds are highly valued because of their scarcity and unadulterated beauty, ANYTHING that is common, or commonly done, loses, (is robbed of), itâs meaning. You can become an amazingly skilled sexual practitioner
..... knee pads and all......yet lose contact with something that is marvelous, simply because it became cheapened by being so readily done and easily available, ie, Îcommonâ.
So, does sex Îhurtâ........yes....and no. Physically, at first, if you are tense and unpracticed and know too little about the physiology of the human female and male, it can hurt. What can REALLY hurt, Autumn, is, if you become adept at Îdoing itâ and you forever miss the wonderful experience of the loving caring and sharing of the most beautiful common language ever devised. (Thatâs what all those Îgrownupsâ who are so BORING....and what do THEY know anyway.....are trying to tell you and are hoping that you hear.
Rather than spread yourself around among the guys........take your mind....your personality....your CHARACTER........in hand and determine to become the most educated, interesting and fascinating woman that you can in the next few years.........THEN the man who will be a match for YOUR achievements will come into your life and you will most likely be glad that you saved a part of yourself that you didnât give to just anyone like the peanut butter sandwich packed in todayâs lunch.
