Q - Dear Annabelle,
I have been a member of a service for several months, on & off and
there are a dearth of men who meet my requirements. In addition, at first
it appeared that there were many more eligible members than there really are.
However, many people sign on only for a free offer, then disappear off the
system.
Can you recommend another e-mail dating service, perhaps one that
specializes, or attracts, professionals/established film industry types
(i.e. own a home, are financially secure), has more Jewish or
"Spiritual" members, ranging in age from early 40's to early 50's, &
that has more of such members to choose from? I am a well-educated
professional myself. I'm willing to pay a higher membership fee to
accomplish this.
Also, what other suggestions do you have for meeting a "Mr. Right"?
Any physical locations, organizations, etc? Not "bars". I'd love to live
in Malibu someday. Any tips for how to increase my odds of meeting an
eligible man who already lives in that vicinity? Since it's out of the
way, one has to love it there to put up with the inconvenience &
challenges it presents.

The ever-elusive 'Mr. Right' is out there -- somewhere -- and, as in all
things looked for, will, (probably), be in the last place you look.
Where might that be? Well, you're right not to look in bars -- there
you find people who drink. Not a bad thing in and of itself, however,
you're intelligent enough to know the ramifications of searcing in that
arena.
For the plateau upon which you wish to be living, (and deservedly
so), a country club, or, in your case, beach club, mileau would be your
best bet. Any of the good yachting clubs will do nicely, thank you.
Meeting people 'in real life', while more time consuming would, for
someone like yourself work very well.
Men, bless 'em, adore beautiful and accomplished women. Since you
fit beautifully into that category, and wish to live at the beach as
well, put your office calls on 'forward' to your cell phone, take your
lovely self and bulging briefcase, join one of the upscale beach clubs,
(as if there were any other kind), and work from your cabana. Miss
Annabelle is assuming you have a FABULOUS wardrobe of alluring
swimsuits, ........yes?
