Looking For Internet Lover.

Q - Dear Annabelle,
I am looking for a lover trough internet. Please advice me how to find one!!!

A - Dear Jamal,

In my never-to-be-humble-opinion, I do NOT think the internet is the place to find a Īloverā. The internet might be a place to find a new email acquaintance who might become a friend who might become, upon further reconnaissance, a closer friend and then, a very good friend, indeed. But, to LOOK for a Īloverā on the net invites many kinds of trouble.

I know that, in your country manydifficulties abound, yet believing that there is someone Īout thereā for you rather than someone in your own culture is not a particularly realistic viewpoint of how relationships really work. The time and energy you spend on a fantasy net friendship.......a Īvirtualā friendship....is time and energy taken away from your experiences in the Īrealā world. You can have a virtual life or a real life....integrating the two often poses real difficulties.

That you may be aware of, or prepared for, those difficulties is one thing.......if you are intent on expanding your friendships via the net, that is easily done...simply use a major search engine, (my recommendation is always http://www.dogpile.com for its multi-engine search capabilities). Good luck on your adventure. And, for goodness sakes, (and yours), use some common sense!
