Married, Yet Very, Very Alone.

Submitted by: Claire

Q - Dear Annabelle,
My husband works in another part of the state, approximately 350 miles or a one hour flight. He came home for my birthday last weekend. I asked if I could come up to visit him for Thanksgiving this weekend and he said Īnoā, that I needed to be Īless clingyā, to Īdevelop my own friendships and to not depend on himā. This is not the first time this has happened. I'm considering divorce because I don't want to be married and be so very very alone. Am I overreacting?

A - Claire,

Overreacting? Well, if I were in this situation Iād have an investigation service look into whether he has a wife or mistress in another city. This is, to put it mildly, bizarre behavior on his part. Is THIS how you want to live your life? Iād also be very sure that I had a good source of income.......since you arenāt going to be able to Īdepend on himā this is where your very good education and sparkling personality are going to come in very handy.......in a new life with someone who appreciates the enchantress that you have always trained yourself to be....even if that person is........YOU!!
