We Bicker About Silly Things.

Q - Dear Annabelle,
Well here is a good one for you. I have been married to the same man for 27 years we had a disagreement over money matters last June. The end of October he file for divorce then moved out 3 weeks later when his apartment was ready. He now pops in and out whenever he wants. We are going to counseling with our pastor. He told us to date. For me to get the movie and go to his place and he cook. Well I did and before I could get home he left a angry message on my answering machine to forget about seeing him Friday. He expects me to be all romantic after all this. I had to get home for work the next day. He gets angry so easy and we bicker about silly things all the time.

A - Laura,

Yes, I do have a suggestion. Find yourself a good marriage counselor and find out what the disagreement is the symptom of. While your pastor may have your best interests at heart, a psychologist, with the years of training in how-things-work-in-the-mind is, (probably), better qualified to tease out the real genesis of the problem. Whatever the Īpresenting problemā is, is not the REAL source of the difficulties ....and it usually takes a degreed professional with more than a Īletās make niceā disposition to uncover the true difficulties.

That he wants to get naked and play is not at all unusual...men tend not to ruminate on things and like to have Īeverything be all betterā......itās we women who sometimes go into over think. Anyway, do go for qualified help here........thereās something other than what youāve told me going on.
