He Didn't Want To Be Married.

Submitted by: Brenda

Q - Dear Annabelle,
What can I do? My husband of six years, decided he didn't want to be married to me anymore, so he left. He just wants a no fault divorce which will happen in July of Ī99. The problem is we have 3 kids and he comes over everyday to see them, {and me}, he drives me wherever I need to go and likes to hang around here. We do not sleep together anymore, which is what I want. There is no one else in either of our lives. I want my husband back.......but he has said it is over. How can I believe him if he's always around. How do I deal with this?

A - Brenda,

Well, since strangling him is illegal, youāll have to try another approach.........and, unless heās willing to go with you to a marriage counselor and improve communication between you, I guess seeing a lawyer is your next move....darn. This must be a terrible shock for the kids as well as for you, although you must have known something was up. Take it slowly and see what he comes up with. It sounds as if heās trying to be decent, and I really have no suggestions for you other than to see that both your childrenās interests and yours are protected. Itās always sad when dreams get broken.
