Q - Dear Annabelle,
Is there anything wrong with my husband wanted to stop by his parents every morning before work and after work? I feel that he just hasn't grown up.
A - Tami,
Iām sure that his parents really enjoy seeing their kidlet, no matter what his age, but, every day...TWICE a day?........and I do understand how stressful and annoying this can be for you. Yes, it does seem immature, perhaps even inappropriate, on the other hand, how is it that itās interfering with your life together? Some guys are just very family oriented.........and, if you donāt have children or havenāt had this degree of closeness I can certainly see why itās bothersome for you.
From this distance, and without hearing any other side of the situation, I canāt be of much help here.....may I recommend that the two of you spend a session with a marriage counselor to work this out so you can have more peace of mind and he can get some relief from your, (very realistic) concerns?
