Q - Dear Annabelle,
Iām 18 years old, and am having sexual relations with my 30 year old boss. He has a girlfriend of 6 years. I know it is wrong, with what I'm doing, but i just don't know. It seems that he likes me sometimes, more than just a friend, or co-worker. My question is, is he just using me for his own pleasure, does he really have feelings for me, and should i continue this relationship?

Pretend you have a daughter, and sheās just asked you the above question.....what would YOU say?? Yup. Heās just using you....and, no, youāre not surprised.
Now, hereās the dynamics, in plain language. Your boss is a scum bag. He seeās nothing wrong in having sexual relations with an employee. He already has another female in his life. One to whom he is not married and for whom he also has little regard.
Sex feels good. Itās just designed that way. Iāll avoid the obvious Īshouldsā and Īshouldnātās because youāve already heard all that stuff...........and, yes, most of it is true. My question to YOU is, what on earth must you think of yourself to treat your SELF so badly? Are you so starved for attention and affection that you have chosen someone who thinks so little of YOU??
Youāre eighteen, and, at eighteen everyoneās still growing and trying new things. How about growing in a GOOD direction, like getting a good education, a good job and a better sense of self worth? Cāmon, youāre better than this. You deserve better....and only YOU can take the steps that will eventuate in your looking back of this episode as.....āNow why in the heck did I ever do THAT!!??ā
Get on with the important stuff of your life. I expect more of you.......know what?....You do too!
