Finding True Love.

Q - Dear Annabelle,
I find it strange that I am writing to you. But I just don't know what else to do. I am a 41 year old woman who is handIcapped and can't find Mr. Right. I have had boyfriends who only wanted me for sex and to borrow money. I went out with these losers because I felt I couldn't find anyone else who would care for me. Now, I am picky on who I date, (which is very rare that I do nowadays). I ask you, where can I meet someone like me??

Someone who understands what it is not to have that āspecial someoneā in your life...sometimes I feel lIke I wIll always be alone, and that Is a scary feelIng. At my age women even have grandchildren by now...and Iāve never even had chIldren. I have had two miscarriages. All I want is a man who will truly love me and have dogs as my chIldren. I hope you can help me and I know how busy you are in answering letters. I won't expect any replies anytime soon. I will understand. Thank you for taking the time to listen.

A - Dear Josie,

ĪFind someone like youā....what does that mean? You donāt say what your handicap is, but, Īdifferently abledā people come in all personalIty types. If finding another person with physical challenges is what you have in mind, Itās been my experience that, (at least at our), Goodwill Industries Outlet Stores are staffed by some really delightful people...many of whom are physically challenged, and all of whom seem to be good hearted as well as able to keep the amazing amounts of donations sorted in orderly ways to keep their stores running effectively.

(The Goodwill stores , in any case, are an amazing resource for just about everything...why not find terrific people there as well?)
