She 'Has A Crush' On Me.

Q - Dear Annabelle,
I met a woman through a mutual friend maybe six months ago, and have seen her socially in group situations off and on ever since. I have been attracted to her since we met. About a month and a half ago, she mentioned that she was looking for a roommate, (she's new to the area, staying with her sister), and asked if I'd be interested in moving into a two bedroom apartment. Well, we moved in together a week and a half ago. This past weekend we started talking and she told me that she has a crush on me, and wants to date, but didn't think that I felt the same way. I told her that the feeling was very mutual. So now we live together, and we want to date. Are we making a big mistake? I'm just afraid that being roommates and dating will put too much pressure on a very new relationship.

A - Dear Brett,

Sigh..........let me simplify this for you (both). Unmarried men and women do not live together. Remember, nothing propinks like propinquity.......(go look it up). Now, each of you find your own living quarters and, if youāre interested in each other, go through the Īusualā steps, absent sex, and find out who each of you are. Trust me, the 60ās ideas, (that seemed SUCH good ideas at the time...!), have caused enormous mischief in society. Thus endeth the lesson for the day.
