Q - Dear Annabelle,
What do you do when you have been together for seven years. Talked commitment and marriage. Has set a date before he backed out. He says he wants to make sure everything and the time is right.I'm starting to feel hurt and very disappointed . It has been seven years.Help me before I start feeling anymore disappointed.
A - Dear Debbie,
Itās generally wise in life to realize that you have what you have, because thatās what you INTENDED to have. (Confusing enough?) Seriously, in my never-to-be-humble-opinion, Iād give him a deadline, (within six months) for the wedding......and then Iād move on.
Itās not as though you donāt know each other. I know you have a lot of Īhistoryā together, but, if he doesnāt want to be married and he likes things the way they are.......and you DONāT, then it is YOU, (who wants action), who must take it.
He may not be the Īrightā guy for you. There ARE other men out there, yes?
