Does Size Count?

Q - Dear Annabelle,
1. Is there a way I can increase the size of my penis 2. Anything I can do to delay my ejaculation. creams ??

A - Dear Jonny,

Your questions call for two sets of answers.

This first set of answers are simple, accurate and are probably close to the sort of responses you expected. However, if you just follow the instructions and learn no new skills you will achieve very little.

To your first question: Surgery is the only proven way to enlarge the penis. There are operations that are, reportedly, successful. However occasional negative outcomes can be horrific when surgery doesn't work as hoped. There are surgeons specializing in those particular operations, and your local medical society can refer you to them. The medical society is listed in the phone book. (Its name begins with the name of your county.)

To your second question: The most commonly used of the "creams" you refer to are those sold for hemorrhoid relief. Another would be a creams used for topical pain relief of teething. The good news is that these are sold over-the-counter and you don't need a prescription to buy them. The bad news is that, not only do they not always work for everyone, when they do work, they achieve their results by deadening penile sensation. So, while your erection may last last longer, you'll probably enjoy it less. *Remember, good sex is more mental than physical anyway!*

Here are the second, more helpful set of answers:

Since almost all surgery is very expensive, generally painful, and potentially dangerous, you must be desperate even to consider it. If you believe that a larger penis will change your life -- that magically you'll be transformed from 'dud' to 'stud' -- think again. There's an old saying that the most important sex organ is the 'one between the ears' -- and it's TRUE!

In the first place, many men worry unnecessarily about the size of their penis............ just as many women worry unnecessarily about the size of their breasts. You should understand that:

(1) size when flaccid has no necessary relation to size when erect, (which is what really matters). (2) Four to six inches is statistically average and adequate for the statistically average vagina. (3) Beyond that, what really matters is that you be truly passionate, skilled, uninhibited and considerate. A lover like that, with an average-size penis can be much more satisfying to a woman than a man with an unusually large penis, who is awkward, anxious and selfish, (the kind of man who really doesn't make love to the woman so much as he uses the woman to make love to himself).

You should be aware that there are men with complete erectile failure who have become legendary lovers.

So, before you consider surgery, ask a urologist -- NOT a doctor who performs the operation -- if your penis is medically under-sized, and if surgery seems indicated. If it turns out -- as it probably will-- that size isn't the problem, you might ask your urologist to refer you to a sex therapist or psychotherapist who specializes in sexual problems -- (the brain is actually the most important sex organ). By the way, you needn't be embarassed to ask; you won't be the first one to ask him for help.......this concern is very, very commonplace.

If more men realized that a penis, of whatever size, is no guarantee of one's being a good lover, more men would develop better lovemaking skills. Any loving man can become a fabulous lover, indeed.

Hope this helps.
