Q - Dear Annabelle,
Sex is considered healthy at what age?
A - Dear Mary,
Iâm not entirely clear about the intent of your question, but
humans are designed to have sex starting at puberty and going for as
long as they wish to. (Pregnancy would be another matter, but that is
not your question).
One of the more delightful functions of sex is as a tension
releaser. (Actually, people who might be termed Îsexual addictsâ use
sex this way, and THIS expression of sex is not considered to be
psychologically healthyâ.)
One can continue to have extremely satisfying sexual relations well
into the 70âs and 80âs, probably beyond, for all I know. Remember Îsexâ
does not mean just intercourse. We are sexual beings from the moment of
conception, and our largest sex organ, our skin, is vulnerable to many
kinds of pleasures.......âsexâ has become narrowly defined.
The second largest sex organ, the brain, is actually where the
pleasure is centered, so, without more specificity about your question,
I cannot give you a more direct answer.
Enjoy...............safely!
- Annabelle
