Q - Dear Annabelle,
I have a major problem. Are you ready for this? Physically and sexually attracted by
men. What can I do? You got to help me I don't know what to do.
A - Dear Max,
You donāt say where you live, ...... whether itās one of the places in the world that removes body parts for this kind of predilection, or elects a like-minded person as mayor .......is not clear. Now, Īwhat to doā would be a very good question for you and a therapist to explore. If, in fact, you ARE homosexual by birth, and not by choice, you have as much chance of changing that as would a heterosexual. If this is gender confusion, then that can be explored and you can go over the several options. That more and more people are beginning to be aware that there are, evidently, five sexes on the continuum from male to female, is becoming, thankfully, obvious. That there is an enormous discrimination against people who are Īdifferentā, especially in the sexual arena, is also obvious.
The only thing that I find, personally, bothersome about homosexuality, is that the lack of discretion and in-your-face quality of gays is beginning to get rather more than tiresome. There IS such a thing as a Īdecent reticenceā, and if everyone, including heterosexuals, would just pipe down about their private moments, I think weād be a good deal happier all around.
If there is a gay and lesbian center in the town where you live, or in a town nearby, Iād seek counseling. It could be that, as I said, this is gender confusion and, if thatās the case, you sure donāt want to park your life where so very many people will persecute you for your Īlifestyleā. If this is something you CANNOT change, then you must be who you were intended to be. Just keep in mind that Īfeelingsā are just that...feelings. They do not require action.
- Annabelle
