How Do I Ask A Girl Out?

Submitted by: Craig

Q - Dear Annabelle,
How do I go about asking a girl out? What do I say to her?

A - Dear Craig,

At 18, this can be a bit of a toughie.......... It will be a lot easier if you look at the next 6 months as Īpracticeā and donāt get your knickers in a twist if you get turned down a few times. Generally, when a fellow is interested in a girl, he looks for signs of her interest in him. This can range from her glancing at him, occasionally, and giving a small smile, stroking her hair or adjusting her clothing in smoothing motions.

A fellow simply approaches the female and says, Īhiā......and something to the effect that, ćThereās a movie (name) this evening at 7, (or whatever), and Iād like it if youād go with me.ä Or, ćWill you join me for a pizza?ä In general, women like guys who have a Īplanā for how the evening is going to progress.

Use the H.E.L.P. formula...

**H.E.L.P**

ĪHā Ask her about her hobbies, what she does for fun, you know, stuff like that.

ĪEā Ask her about her education...school......what classes she likes/doesnāt like,... that sort of thing. Help her with a difficult class or ask her to help YOU! (Strangely enough, you can make friends by asking someone to help you with something).

ĪLā Ask her about her Īlifestyleā..........what she likes to do when she just Īhangs outā with friends and stuff. Does she go to church or synagogue?

ĪPā Ask her about her plans for the future, and such. What would she like to do when she grows up, does she have a long list or a short list of things-to-do in life? (By the way, the most desirable people have a real ENTHUSIASM for life.......and young MEN who are excited about all the wonderful things theyāre going to do in the world are....get this.......REALLY desirable to young women ;)

Watch other, more successful, guys and notice what they do that works. You could even join social groups, such as those at church or at the local political party....those are notoriously good places to practice. Good luck, have fun, enjoy!
