Q - Dear Annabelle,
I've been dating my boyfriend for 15 months now. In the past he has lied to me. He was previously engaged before we got together and was secretly talking with his so-called Īexā. He has not yet asked his ex to send him back their engagement ring should I still stick around? He claims he ended their relationship long ago and I have told him how I feel about his ex having the ring. Still, I feel like he isn't totally committed to me. Should I feel this way about the ring cause he is here with me and the ex is attending school in Japan. ( He is gonna be 27 years old). He was also married before.

Well, heās still Īattachedā to the other female...not a good bet for marriage with you at this time. That heās lied to you is also a very bad sign. People who lie......lie. Ask yourself........if heās this way NOW, when heās being more loving than he will likely be in the years to come, how will he be IN the Īyears to comeā?
Now, keep in mind that, if it is HE who broke the engagement, then the ring is, traditionally, hers to keep. If is SHE who broke off the engagement, she should return the ring. If that is the case, that she has not done so and HE is the dumpee is not a good sign. You may want to give some more thought to this one.
