my boo is considering driving a truck for a year but I don't want to lose him because
I feel love towards him but I also don't feel like I should wait what should I do

Your Îbooâ? Youâre 25, Iâm making the assumption here, that, if this person is of an age to drive a truck that (he?) is also about your age.....and is a Îgrown upâ type person. ÎGrown upsâ get to make decisions about their own lives and are not clingy and dependent.
If YOU are not a Îgrown upâ person, then whatever are you doing with one? This is a PERSON, NOT a teddy bear or childâs toy...........that you Îfeel love towards himâ, yet would deny him what he feels he must do to further his development indicates that the two of you are at different developmental stages.
Work on yourself with the help of a good psychologist so you can SUPPORT someoneâs independence and growth, NOT so you can entwine and smother him.
