Q - Dear Annabelle,
My girlfriend just broke up with me because I am too young for her she says...she is 36
and I am 25, but we are still sleeping together...the whole thing is very confusing...what should I do?
A - Dear Frank,
Quite Īsleeping withā her. BELIEVE her when she tells you that you are not close enough in age to her...(you are at two different life stages and this doesnāt always work out). That she wants to break up with you and STILL use you as her snuggle-bunny chew toy is disturbed, yet understandable, behavior. (Sounds as if sheās coming off a Īdrugā habit!)
YOU enjoy the sex, SHE enjoys the sex......and yet YOU know youāre being Īusedā...and you are. Hey, itās HARD to Īdo the right thingā and move on. You probably felt all worldly that an Īolder womanā wanted you. Thatās one of the problems inherent in these, (usually), mismatches......one person is out of developmental synch.
At 25, you ought to be able to find some pretty dynamite, and unjaded females. (And, for what itās worth and no aspersions cast on you.....when a 36 year old female goes AFTER a 25 year old guy...sheās not able to interest, or be interested in, guys more age appropriate for her. )
Go get your old teddy bear. At least heās honest....
