Q - Dear Annabelle,
I've messed up my last couple of relationships. It seems like every time things start going well, I freak out and find a reason to end the relationship. It's been 2 years since my last serious relationship, and a great girl just came into my life. I'm very, very
afraid that I'm going to do the same thing again and hurt her.
A - Dear Adam,
At 24 you have a situation that you may, (still), be able to overcome with good psychological help.........go and find a really good therapist and invest the time and $$ to get a handle on this one.
Youāve obviously intelligent enough to recognize that you have a recurrent problem and, I would bet, itās reparable.
Yes, it will take work, time and money.....but the results will, (likely), be that you will be able to sustain a long term relationship.....and marriage......now, isnāt that worth at least as much attention as a car?
- Annabelle
